Who are the Artichoke brothers? They were actually a young couple that I noticed on one of the most beautiful days in Central Park. It was the first warm day and you could observe all of the signs of spring: crocuses, brand new leaves, people in love, removing their jackets and some their shirts. I am enjoying this time while working impressionistically.
SOLDIf you interested in paintings of Central Park landscapes (without the Artichoke brothers) I would be happy to create one for you.
Side note: This paintings was sold at the Art Students League Christmas Show. I had to give the name of the painting, and at the time I thought I would present my artichoke painting. The last minute I changed my mind and decided to show this one. Turns out it was a good choice because it was sold the first day of the show. The people in charge of the show I heard were sticklers about changing what you first presented, so I continued to call it the Artichokes. Next the Artichoke Brothers.
