Oil On Canvas
44" x 44"
In 2006 the United States changed the references and definitions of the term hunger and eliminated references to it by keeping various categories of food insecurity. The term "very low food insecurity" means that, at times during the year, the food intake of household members was reduced and their normal eating patterns were disrupted because the household lacked money and other resources for food. This means that people were hungry (in the sense of "the uneasy or painful sensation caused by want of food". I've named the painting below Hunger for those households who know the true meaning of hunger. (-And I don't mean Hollywood starlets.)
This painting will be shipped rolled in a tube. It is signed on the front and back and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity. The canvas sides are painted a neutral tone to match the painting. Take the canvas to your favorite frame store and have them stretch it onto stretcher bars.
**If you live in Manhattan I will personally deliver the purchased painting to your home.
