The Bridge of Sighs, known as the Ponte dei Sospiri in Italian, is one of the most famous bridges not just in Venice, but in the world. The bridge passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects the Dogi's Palace to the Prigioni, the prisons that were built across the canal in the late 16th century. I had visited Venice and chose to paint this as it was glorious at night.
 
This painting will be shipped carefully in a box. It is signed on the front and back and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity. The canvas sides are painted a neutral tone to match the painting. Take the canvas to your favorite frame store and have them stretch it onto stretcher bars.
